As soon as Intel's latest processor technology, the Intel Core i7, was officially launched in November 2008, a slew of Core i7-related products were also announced. These products were mostly either new desktop systems, new motherboards using the new Intel X58 Express chipset, or new triple-channel DDR3 memory kits.
